The Action for Happiness Annual Prize Draw is our way of saying thank you to our members for providing us with valuable feedback. Each year we pool the respondents to our various surveys and select one at random to receive a cash prize of £250 (or equivalent if not based in the U.K.). Each person is limited to one entry per survey, however, you may be entered multiple times if you answer multiple surveys (e.g. an end-of-course survey and our annual members survey). Full terms and conditions
- The promoter of this competition is Action for Happiness (“AfH”) with office address: WeWork, 3 Waterhouse Square, 138 Holborn, London EC1N 2SW, UK.
- Entry into this competition is dependent on your acceptance of these terms and conditions and by entering the competition you confirm your acceptance of these.
- The enter you must submit a fully completed survey as sent to you by AfH.
- Employees of AfH and members of their families are not permitted to enter.
- The prize draw runs annually. Only entries received by 11:59 (GMT) on 31 December (the “Closing Date” for that year) will be entered into the competition.
- Entries received after the Closing Date will be included in the following year’s draw while this is still running.
- Entrants must be aged 18 or over on the Closing Date for the year they enter.
- No payment or purchase is necessary to enter the competition.
- Maximum one entry per-survey per entrant (multiple entries via different surveys are allowed).
- There is one prize for the competition each year which is a £250 cash transfer.
- If the winner has a UK bank account the prize will be sent via bank transfer
- If the winner does not have a UK bank account the transfer will be done via PayPal using whichever currency available which is most relevant for the winner. The winner will need to have a PayPal account in order to receive the prize in this case.
- Alternatively the winner may opt to donate their cash prize to a charity of their choice.
- The winner will be chosen at random from all valid entrants received before by the Closing Date.
- All prizes are non-exchangeable and non-transferable (with the exception of the winner choosing to donate their prize to charity as above).
- AfH accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with applying for or receiving the prize.
- The competition winner will be notified on or before 31 January in the year after the Closing Date, by email to the email address used when completing the survey.
- AfH does not accept responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, incomplete or otherwise not received for any technical or other reason.
- AfH does not accept responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the competition.
- AfH reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue this competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside their control or to amend these terms and conditions at any time
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with them shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.
