HAPPINESS HABITS
This 6-week course has been developed by Action for Happiness, drawing on the wisdom of experts across many fields to cover the practical habits of living a happier life and spreading happiness to others.

The course is run by local volunteers and is offered on a donation basis—so please feel free to give whatever you can afford. Most people choose the suggested donation, but any amount is welcome, and no one is ever turned away for lack of funds.ABOUT THE COURSE
Happiness Habits is a secular, science-based program for anyone looking to learn how to live happily and share that happiness with others. Each week focuses on a different theme—from gratitude and self-care to resilience and meaning.
What you’ll do each week:

- Participate in group discussions and mindfulness practices that help you apply what you learn
- Take home self-chosen actions to integrate these habits into your daily life

WHO THE COURSE IS FOR
This course is for anyone interested in exploring how to create and share happiness—whether you’re:
- Rebuilding your well-being after tough times
- Seeking the latest research to dive deeper into happiness science
- Looking to connect with like-minded people for mutual support
- Eager to help others from family and friends to your wider community
No prior experience is required. If you have a keen interest in boosting your own happiness or in helping others lead happier lives, this course is for you.
Please note: while the course is supportive and community-focused, it is not group therapy. If you’re experiencing severe challenges, we recommend seeking professional help.
Why Six Weeks?
We know 6 weekly sessions might feel like a big commitment, but many past participants say this structure helps them steadily build new habits and truly experience positive change. If life gets in the way and you can’t attend every session, don’t worry—you can still benefit from the weeks you do join.

HOW IT WORKS
- Session Structure: 2-hour weekly meet-ups (Online)
- Approved Volunteers: selected and trained by our team
- Small Group: We keep each course group between 10 and 20 people to ensure meaningful discussions
- Donation of your choice: (Suggested donation: €80) Though you can contact us for a free place if you need one
- Location & Timing: This course will be held (Online) in Munich starting on 29th Apr 2025 and running for 6 consecutive weeks.

How much should I donate to join the course?
- Truly Flexible: We suggest €80, but welcome donations above or below that—any amount is appreciated.
- No Awkwardness Needed: If finances are tight, please don’t worry about giving less (or nothing). Your presence is what truly counts.
