Does your anxiety ever feel like it's running the show?

For many of us, anxiety can feel like a constant, unwelcome companion - showing up as racing thoughts or worries that spiral out of control. It can leave us doubting ourselves, avoiding things we care about, or feeling like something is wrong with us.

At this special event, psychologist and broadcaster Dr Sian Williams will share insights from her book The Power of Anxiety. Rather than treating anxiety as something to fight or fear, Sian shows how it can become a signal we learn to notice, understand and work with.

Drawing on her clinical experience and her own journey, Sian will guide us through simple grounding and breathing techniques to calm the body and mind. She'll also explore how being highly sensitive can be a strength and how getting clear on our core values can help us make better decisions when anxiety is loud. Whether you live with everyday worry, occasional anxious spirals, or simply want a more effective way to respond when anxiety shows up, this event will leave you with tools you can start using straight away - and the reassurance that it's not your fault.
