Living Well With Anxiety

In this masterclass webinar, psychologist, author and BBC broadcaster Dr Sian Williams shares practical, compassionate tools for living well with anxiety.

Does your anxiety ever feel like it's running the show?

For many of us, anxiety can feel like a constant, unwelcome companion - showing up as racing thoughts or worries that spiral out of control. It can leave us doubting ourselves, avoiding things we care about, or feeling like something is wrong with us. Drawing on insights from her book 'The Power of Anxiety' Sian Williams explains how we can treat anxiety as a signal we learn to notice, understand and work with - rather something to fight or fear. Sian guides us through simple grounding and breathing techniques to calm the body and mind. She also explores how being highly sensitive can be a strength and how getting clear on our core values can help us make better decisions when anxiety is loud.

This was recorded at a live Action for Happiness community event on 15 September 2026, hosted by AFH Director Dr Mark Williamson.
